We had a fantastic trip to Kerala and Goa.

Jenny found us a lovely homestay style hotel on the Kerala Backwaters to ease ourselves into our Indian Adventures.

After three days of relaxation, Ayurvedic massage, cycling and amazing food, we embarked on an eight-day small group tour with Explore.

There were 11 of us from all over the world, ranging in age from 31 to 70, and we had lots of fun, travelling around Kerala in a comfortable air-conditioned minibus.

We visited a tea plantation, a wildlife reserve with tigers and elephants, the markets, and towns of Munnar and Cochin, hoisted Chinese fishing nets, saw spices growing and lots more.

Everywhere we went, the food was delicious, the people warm and friendly, and we stayed in a variety of accommodation.

After 11 days in Kerala, we flew to Goa for the remainder of our holiday to recharge.
