After a long wait due to pandemic delays, we finally made it to Singapore and Bali for another fantastic trip organised by Jenny.
We spent five days in Singapore at the Quincy Hotel, which was perfectly located near Orchard Road and the underground station. Marina Bay was just ten minutes away, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visits to Raffles Hotel, Sentosa Island and Gardens by the Bay.
Our first stay in Bali was at the Pita Maha in Ubud, where we enjoyed a private villa with a plunge pool - what a location! Set on the side of a hill with stunning jungle views and a stream running through it, the villa offered a peaceful retreat.
It was the perfect spot, tucked away from the buzz of the main town yet conveniently close to most sightseeing locations.
Jenny arranged a private transfer down to Nusa Dua, where we stayed at the luxurious Melia Hotel. The hotel, in a prime location, is large and bustling, with everything impeccably clean and well-maintained.
Although we initially booked bed and breakfast, upgrading to all-inclusive made sense given the hotel's quality. The restaurants were all fantastic, and the staff and service were excellent.
Our first trip with Jenny Davis was in 2015, a memorable journey to Vietnam for my 50th birthday. Since then, we’ve travelled to Hanoi, Halong Bay, Langkawi, Bangkok, Khao Sok National Park, Khao Lak, and now Singapore and Bali - all expertly organised by Jenny.
Every trip has been first-class and has gone off without a hitch. Next year marks my 60th birthday, and Jenny will be the first person I call to plan our next adventure.
